Rotary District 2790 World Community Service (WCS):
The Rotary Club of Mactan is delighted for the renewal of ties and project partnership with Rotary Club of Chiba Japan District 2790. This year, both Clubs agreed a joint project with RC Mactan's "Share A Walk" Program. Where in through RC Mactan's connection with UPPGH Rehab Department, qualified amputees/beneficiaries will be given free prothesis. Screening and measurement begins March 2008.
RC Chiba Japan shared 50,000 yen to this project. Pres. Maita, Sec. Dodong and Treasurer Rene were happy to receive the grant fund last January 18 at Cebu Grand Convention Center from District 2790 Governor Masataka Shiratori and WCS Chairman Etsurou Susuki. While District 3860 Governor Joseph Michael Espina with D-3860 WCS Chairman Hikaru Miyake and Co Chairman DS Danny Vicencio led the hosting of the fellowship dinner.
