CEBU DENTAL SOCIETY, THANK YOU SO MUCH




Rotary Club of Mactan in association with the ever reliable Cebu Dental Society again held a successful Dental Summer Camp. Some 300 patients were served, - and this from monday to friday in barangay poblacion, canjulao, marigondon, pajac and maribago.

Barangay Ibo hit by fire


ROYTARY CLUB OF MACTAN and many many others came forward and contributed clothes, kitchen utensils and more to the some 70 families now homeless after their homes in Barangay Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City, were destroyed by fire this last friday, april 18, 2008.

Farewell... and thank you so much for caring and sharing to make dreams come true. You made a difference to many, you touched hearts and you changed lifes.

At this point it is probably adequate to specially mention some other supporting (or actually leading) actors:
- Lady Cora. All Dream Team Members had so much goodwill and friendship to offer. Lady Cora Van Laar relentlessly worked and lobbyied to direct their attention towards the Philippines.
- Rotary Club of Mactan President Maita Manglapus who did all she could and more to make this visit successful and memorable
- PAG Rosauro Borromeo, whose hospitality in Davao knew no limits

She informed about Bahay Mapagmahal, where she is more eldest sister thn supervisor to 15 lively children with disability.

Joyce Nicdao (right), former resident of Bahay Mapagmahal got a brand new and heavy duty wheelchair. Joyce has a hard time using public transportation. Her will is her way. Everyday she wheels herself from her dorm to the skill training center, rain or shine. Thank you so much to Bob, to Maita. You might never know what great difference you make when touching peoples life.
