making sense of the reasons for conflict wether at home or elsewhere motivated rotarian mona pamintuan bourseaux of rotary club of mactan to dig deeper into reasons why this girl now 15 years old lost sight of both her eyes ten years ago while picking a bomb by accident thinking it was a mere toy along a railway station. The photo shows how through a medical mission conducted in remote places like zamboanga del norte her eyesight could be restored in one eye. performed by the skillful hand of a benevolent doctor this would give her a glimpse of the world not anymore through the eyes of a five year old but a young adult. Through service above self the best is yet to come...
